As the saying goes, when one door closes, another opens. After much reflection, we've made the difficult decision to sunset our Saferoot cryptocurrency wallet protection to concentrate efforts on our next innovation - transaction rejection technology for crypto projects and financial institutions.

This TechCrunch piece by Rita L. dives into the origin story behind Staging Labs and Saferoot. Startups often "dogfood" their own solutions, but Staging Labs co-founder Francois L. learned firsthand the flaws in crypto security when his assets were stolen in a Discord phishing attack. That negative experience laid the groundwork for Saferoot - a platform built so others don’t have to learn the hard way how to protect themselves. After losing his funds, he realized there must be a better safeguard for crypto investors. This revelation fueled the idea behind the development of Saferoot to arm the crypto community against attacks.

At Staging Labs, we believe in two things:
