There is a growing consensus among home buyers and renters that more sustainable and energy-efficient homes need to be delivered.  This view is strongest amount those under 30, who are the buyers of the future. 
This report by Make UK Modular and Octopus Energy identifies that modular is one way of tackling the challenge.

Adopting a modular approach to apartments can not only significantly reduce the construction duration and workforce requirements on site, but also deliver a great home.  
To get to 300,000 homes a year, more innovative solutions will be needed, especially if we want the most sustainable outcomes.
