It was one of the most honorable moments of my life, as part of GLOBIS Europe and GLOBIS Corporation , to welcome the top 50 future leaders from #Oman in #Japan through the leadership program organized by Royal Academy of Management , Oman. Our time together was not just about exchanging knowledge—it was also a profound learning experience for me. We explored how Japan became an influential industrial nation after opening its doors about 200 years ago, not by merely adopting Western technology, but by integrating its own philosophy, values, and principles into that technology, driven by the strong #Kokorozashi (志) of its leaders. This concept, known as 和魂洋才 (Wakon Yōsai), is what I believe to be a key factor in Japan's industrial success. Our goal for the Oman delegation was to embrace this history, and I am confident that these future leaders will carry forward the idea of blending Oman’s unique values with the best global practices. Together, they will create a distinctive and competitive edge for Oman on the world stage.
