Heartseed Inc. CEO Keiichi Fukuda Wins Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine "Achievement Award"
 
This distinguished award is presented to individuals who have made significant scientific, technological advances in the field of regenerative medicine, or have made notable contributions to the development of the Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine　
 (JSRM). 
 
The award ceremony and lecture were held on March 21, 2024, at the 23rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine. Fukuda delivered a lecture on the basic research and clinical application of cardiac regenerative therapy, and the path towards implementation in society.
 
Since our establishment in 2015, it has been a great honor for Heartseed Inc. to support Fukuda's achievements, including the initiation of the Phase 1/2 clinical trial of allogeneic iPSC-derived cardiomyocyte spheroids, HS-001 in Japan (LAPiS trial). Heartseed Inc. will continue to lead innovations in the field of regenerative medicine.

Heartseed was selected by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government for the "Innovation TOKYO Project for the Future" in FY2021. Under this project, the Government subsidizes a portion of the expenses required to develop and improve products through open innovation with large companies.
