INVL Technology is a closed-end investment company which invests in IT businesses. It is listed on the Nasdaq Vilnius exchange (INC1L).

The company was established in early 2015 through a merger of the asset management and IT business companies INVL Technology AB and BAIP Group AB.

On 3 July 2015, INVL Technology placed a new issue of 6 060 607 shares at a price of 1.65 euros per share and raised 10 million euros.

On 14 July 2016, the Bank of Lithuania issued a closed-end investment company (CEF) licence to INVL Technology. INVL Technology will operate until 14 July 2026, with extension possible for two more years.

When the company obtained the status of a CEF, its management was assumed by INVL Asset Management – part of the asset management group Invalda INVL.

INVL Technology operates as a diversified cluster of IT businesses focused on large corporate and public sector clients which helps to globalise the activities of the businesses it owns and enlarge their portfolios of services.

INVL Technology invests in and develops IT businesses based in European countries with the potential to become global players. In seeking to transform them into global businesses, the company takes advantage of the access to markets and the intellectual capital of the other businesses it owns.

INVL Technology’s goal is, after boosting the value of the businesses it owns, to sell them profitably and thus generate a significant return for investors.

News from INVL Technology managed companies: Cybersecurity consulting and technology development company NRD Cyber Security reported revenue of EUR 5.37 million in 2021, an increase of 66 % compared to 2020 revenue of EUR 3.23 million.

According to the audited data, NRD Cyber Security also generated a net profit of EUR 603,000 last year, an increase of 88 % compared to EUR 321,000 in the same reporting period in 2020.

INVL Technology, a company that invests in IT businesses, had equity of EUR 36.125 million at the end of 2021, which is 7.1% more than a year earlier. Equity per share at the end of 2021 was EUR 2.9936 and, taking the buy-back of own shares into account, increased 8.1% in the year. The company had a net profit last year of EUR 2.6 million. Only 4% of respondents do not plan any investments in IT in 2022, not counting IT maintenance costs. 
 
These are among the results of a survey of the IT needs of the businesses and organizations in the country commissioned by the Novian IT infrastructure and software services group. The survey was conducted by the KOG Institute for Marketing and Communication Sciences conducted in November-December 2021.

News from the managed companies: Replacing paper documents with electronic ones as quickly as possible, filling them in and managing using a mobile app – that is the result that the Lithuanian dairy cooperative Pienas LT is going for. The company has started digitalising this process in cooperation with the software services company Novian Systems.
 
According to Paulius Skamarakas, CCO at Novian Systems, the rapidly growing low-code solutions are a great choice when you need a fast, easy-to-create solution to automate a clear, not very complex process.
 
“We can say from experience that these solutions are increasingly successful in many areas: from day-to-day operations, administration, personnel to production. Their demand is growing significantly, especially at a time when there is a shortage of programmers in the market and the need for mobile applications is much higher than IT departments can handle,” P. Skamarakas said.

INVL Technology, a company that invests in IT businesses, on 27 October this year announced a buyback of its own shares which took place through 10 November via the Nasdaq Vilnius exchange. The purchase price offered by the company was EUR 2.74 per share. 

The company offered to purchase a total of up to 121,753 shares. Shareholders that took part in the offering will sell 107 686 shares for EUR 295 thousand. Settlement for the shares will take place on 12 November.

Some of the purchased shares will be used in incentive programmes for employees of INVL Technology companies.

INVL Technology, a company investing in information technology businesses, increased its equity by 4.6% (EUR 0.13 per share) in the first three quarters of the year to EUR 35.26 million, or EUR 2.90 per share.
INVL Technology generated a net profit of EUR 1.54 million over the three quarters as compared with a net profit of EUR 0.91 million in the same period last year.
