The goal of LatBAN is to organize and expand the activity of business angels in Latvia and to help fund promising new ventures. That's why LatBAN organize pitch events that bring together business angels and entrepreneurs.

Of the 34 applications, 21 promising startups were chosen by 4 PM Ventures to become part of the Future Health Lab. Today, the best top 15 showed their achievements and vision to guests and partners of 4 PM Ventures. Among them — Vladimir Ovsyanikov, co-founder of Rebroker.ai and Fontado Global; angel Alexey Koushner; and Healthtech guru and executive coach Michael Genin.

Congratulations to the teams awarded certificates for free participation in the following three modules of the Future Health Lab: Bodyscope, Nowi, SoftMedico, WLLNSS, xAID, Bdetect, and biobetter. These startups were selected since they were aligned with our focus points, prepared regarding products, actively participated in the first module of the Laboratory, and stood out in today's pitching session. We look forward to discussing participation terms with the rest of the teams, as we are committed to bringing their innovations to market. 

The Future Health Lab possesses a unique configuration that combines best practices in Learning&Development from Varya Selina, the expertise of Yuri Fed and Dmitrii Fadin in Healthcare and Medicine, and Venture-building from Vladislav Lurye and Aleksejs Kornevs. Our Partnership Director, Taya Kudashkina, is actively networking with VCs and Clinics all over Europe, value engineers are always ready to help – all our efforts are only to make our startups successful and improving human life.

So we got ALL of us to help us bridging trust between Nordic & Baltic & Polish investors and Ukrainian startup ecosystems.

We had our first event at Startup House / TechHub Riga...

... and it was fantastic. For this event, we were joined by special hardware professionals such as Arta Beitāne, Atis Hermanis and Ilmars Osmanis. We learned about hardware investments and bootstrapping hardware startups.

For the 2nd part of the event, we had 9 🇱🇻 Latvian startups pitching their projects. Thanks to Flomo, Hyperscan, Zorion, ZOLT SIA, Eat in Hotels, ArtuPower, BeTRITON, Fermentful and Lightspace Labs.
