Drum roll please… it’s an announcement day! The Vita Coco Company is excited to share the launch of The Vita Coco Community Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. But what is it, and why are we doing it?

The Vita Coco Community Foundation is focused on addressing social, economic, and environmental factors that affect the health of all of our communities in which we operate, from farmers to our consumers. Forming this foundation is our way of expanding on our existing work with the Vita Coco Project and Seedlings for Sustainability, ultimately solidifying our commitment to give back to the coconut communities that support us.

Led by Vita Coco’s Social Impact and Sustainability Program Director John Tran, the Foundation’s first Executive Director, this nonprofit will be focusing on three key areas: fostering education and entrepreneurship, creating access to physical activity and healthy food, and building environments for communities to prosper and thrive. We’re pretty hyped about this one, and hope you are too. Stay tuned for more as we kick things off!
