Moolec is run by a diverse, highly qualified, and experienced team of Ph.Ds and Food insiders, and operates in the United States, Europe, and South America.

In early 2023, we became the first Molecular Farming food-tech company to trade in public markets in the Nasdaq Stock Market under the ticker "MLEC".

After many months of work, we are glad to announce the signing of an R&D collaboration agreement with Bunge Argentina with the purpose of working together on the development of safflower varieties to improve productivity for specific applications and markets.

Bunge Argentina is a subsidiary of Bunge Global (NYSE: BG). It is one of the most important agribusiness companies within the country engaged in agricultural activity that integrates grain marketing, reception and storage, oilseeds industrialization, meal production with a varied content of proteins, and vegetable oil production -either refined for human consumption or crude– for global markets.

Event Season in Full Swing!

These last couple of days have been some busy ones for our Team. We had Moolers all over the world representing us, promoting science in food, and spreading the word on how Molecular Farming Technology is helping to build a more sustainable and resilient food system!

Our Chief Science Officer Amit Dhingra participated in a plenary session in the World Congress on In Vitro Biology organized by the Society For In Vitro Biology alongside Molecular Farming company peer Kathleen Hefferon and Ph.D candidate Michael Saad in St. Louis, Missouri, US.

Henk Hoogenkamp, Moolec’s Chief Product Officer, spoke at Bridge2Food  Europe, continent’s leading event for sustainable food production. He presented a panel on the production of proteins with Molecular Farming Technology and was part of the final remarks group alongside Cindy Gerhardt from Planet B.io, Henrik Lund from NATURLI’ and Dr. Luis A. Fernandez ★ MANE from MANE.

Last, but not least, our own Catalina Jones, Chief of Staff & Sustainability, represented us at IDB Invest Sustainability Week 2024 in Manaus, Brazil, where 500+ leaders worldwide got together to address the main challenges that the planet faces and think on solutions related to clean energy, agriculture modernization, food security, strengthen transportation systems, and expand access to financing.
