The Council of Development Finance Agencies is a national association dedicated to the advancement of development finance concerns and interests. CDFA is comprised of the nation’s leading and most knowledgeable members of the development finance community representing public, private and non-profit development entities.

Members are state, county and municipal development finance agencies and authorities that provide or otherwise support economic development financing programs, including tax-exempt and taxable bonds, credit enhancement programs, and direct debt and equity investments as well as a variety of non-governmental and private organizations ranging from regional and large investment banks to commercial finance companies to bond counsel, bond insurers, trustees, venture capital companies, rating agencies, and other organizations interested in economic development finance.

Toby Rittner, Ariel Miller, Brendan Barry, and Andres C. recently traveled to Louisville to meet with the Louisville Metro Government for an Advisory Team Meeting. Over two days, the CDFA team facilitated a planning session and developed a strategic framework for the Louisville Metro Government, including a SWOT Analysis activity. The Measuring Impacts of New Federal Initiatives in Indian Country session at the 2024 CDFA Federal Policy Conference promises to be a timely discussion on the exciting and unprecedented investments into entrepreneurship, education, workforce development, resilience, and infrastructure in tribal communities.

Shannon Ward, Senior Vice President of Native American Bank, will be leading an excellent discussion focused on the federal funding programs and administrative policy changes that are having substantial impacts on Native American homes, businesses, and communities nationwide.
