🔔 Important Update for Metal Detection Equipment Used in Public Spaces🔔 According to Commission Recommendation (EU) 2023/1468 of 10 May 2023, the European Commission strongly recommends the implementation of voluntary performance requirements for metal detection equipment used in public areas (excluding aviation). Although not mandatory, these measures are strongly recommended to enhance the security of our public spaces. By 10 May 2024, Member States should have taken the necessary measures, in accordance with Union law, to implement this recommendation.
