It's happening:

This Friday we are hosting a twitter space with other leaders in the crypto industry to catch everybody up on the growth we have seen as well as what to expect in 2024

Real World Assets account for DeFi's fastest growing sector and have experienced a 20x increase in TVL (total value locked) over the last 18 months. 

Omni Network is working toward upgrading the entire Ethereum infrastructure stack with neutral standards.

ERC-4626 drove a standard yield bearing interface for DeFi across the industry - this has accelerated composability and reduced the risk of hacks. 

However, it currently demands synchronous deposits and withdrawals.This holds back two key opportunities:

1. RWAs: most RWA actions happen asynchronously 
2. Cross chain DeFi: all cross chain activity also happens asynchronously

EIP 7540 introduces an asynchronous interface for ERC-4626, massively expanding the opportunity for this standard by:

1. Opening up the opportunity for RWAs to be integrated throughout DeFi
2. Expanding DeFi to be natively cross chain

The Ethereum Foundation has paved the way for scaling Ethereum
through a rollup-centric roadmap.

This move opens up massive market opportunities in the crypto industry, comparable to Ethereum's launch in 2015.
