Focus
Empowerment en sociale inclusie
Initiatieven gericht op het in sociaal en economisch opzicht sterker maken van gemarginaliseerde, kwetsbare of buiten de boot vallende personen en groepen. Hierbij kun je denken aan mensen die op basis van hun leeftijd, opleiding, sociale afkomst, alternatieve levensstijl, etnische herkomst of seksuele oriëntatie uitgesloten worden van een voor hen volwaardige deelname aan de samenleving. 

Geluk en gezondheid
Initiatieven gericht op een positieve verandering van geluk en gezondheid van mens en dier. Speerpunten hierbij zijn de zorg voor de mentale gezondheid van jongeren en jongvolwassenen, het vormgeven en ontwikkelen van cultureel ondernemerschap en het terugdringen van vlees- en zuivelconsumptie door het stimuleren van plantaardig eten.  

Empowerment and social inclusion
Initiatives aimed at strengthening marginalized, vulnerable, or excluded individuals and groups socially and economically. This can refer to people who are excluded from full participation in society based on their age, education, social background, alternative lifestyle, ethnic origin, or sexual orientation.

Happiness and health
Initiatives aimed at bringing about a positive change in the happiness and health of humans and animals. Key priorities include caring for the mental health of young people and young adults, shaping and developing cultural entrepreneurship, and reducing meat and dairy consumption by promoting plant-based eating.

NoorderImpact

Onze oprichter Sjoerd Zijlstra organiseert ook dit jaar The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride in Groningen. Een belangrijk moment om aandacht te vragen voor prostaatkanker en de mentale gezondheid van mannen. Als NoorderImpact dragen we graag bij aan dit goede initiatief!

Mooi om een bijdrage te kunnen leveren aan de groei van IJsbaart en de consumptie van plantaardig ijs!

📣 NoorderImpact acquires a stake in AIM on crew recovery!
AIM focuses on the reception and care of repatriated Filipino seafarers. (Co-)founder Anker Insurance Company and impact investor NoorderImpact aim to professionalize and to expand AIM's operations. 
 
Key areas of focus include (training) programs to promote the mental and physical well-being of seafarers and an expanded accommodation and guidance for repatriated seafarers.
 
Annemiek Bos, Managing Director of Anker Insurance Company, regarding NoorderImpact's participation: "With NoorderImpact, we have found a partner who can assist us strategically and organizationally in the further development of AIM. They are familiar with our working environment and that of AIM."

NEWS - NoorderImpact participates in IJsbaart
IJsbaart develops and markets plant-based food concepts with a focus on plant-based ice cream. They started selling their ice cream at festivals and are now ready to conquer the Netherlands. Impact investor NoorderImpact is happy to assist with that!
 
Sjoerd Zijlstra from NoorderImpact on the participation in IJsbaart: "This initiative fits perfectly with our aim to promote the consumption of plant-based food. We believe that IJsbaart is capable of introducing plant-based ice cream to a wide market in an accessible way."

IJsbaart's ice cream are sold throughout The Netherlands, with the number of sales points increasing rapidly. The ice cream will also be available at various supermarket chains, starting in the spring of 2024.
