⚡ As Europe embraces energy storage, the real challenge begins: turning policy into action. The EU’s electricity market design reform in 2023 was a game-changer, recognizing the critical role energy storage plays in the path to decarbonization. But as we've seen, national-level implementation presents hurdles such as double taxation and limited market access. At Kyoto Group, we believe energy and thermal storage holds the key to a more resilient and sustainable future.
