Storm Capital Management (est. 2006) is an independent asset management company owned by its partners.

The company is based in Oslo (Norway) and focus exclusively on the management of Nordic credit strategies. The firm is regulated by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway (organisational number: 989 309 439).

We currently manage the Nordic high yield fund, Storm Bond Fund, which we have done since inception of the fund in September 2008. The fund is domiciled in Luxembourg with a UCITS/SICAV structure and offer daily liquidity. The fund is available in hedged share classes in the following currencies: EUR, CHF, USD, GBP, NOK and SEK.

What is the current state of the global economy and what will be the key drivers to watch going forward? Furthermore, Norway and Sweden recently announced plans to help consumers by covering 90% of the electricity bill above a certain level in Norway. With policies like these already in the making, is it therefore likely to assume that the Nordic region will outperform relative to others in terms of a more challenging environment? How are the Nordic central banks likely to respond relative to other central banks?

Together, they have nearly 20 years of experience from DNB Markets. 

Ingvild Borgen is an Interest Rates/FX research analyst with a background from Norway’s central bank (Norges Bank), Capital Economics and Nordea among others. Ole André Kjennerud is currently a credit strategist and started his career as a macro analyst focusing on #China after having completed parts of his economics degree in Hong Kong.
