It also supplies pumps, hose reels, meters, valves, and accessories for fast oil change facilities, service garages, fleet service centers, automobile dealerships, auto parts stores, truck builders, and heavy equipment service centers; and systems, components, and accessories for the automatic lubrication of bearings, gears, and generators in industrial and commercial equipment, compressors, turbines, and on- and off-road vehicles. The company's Contractor segment offers sprayers to apply paint to walls and other structures; and viscous coatings to roofs, as well as markings on roads, parking lots, athletic fields, and floors. It sells its products through distributors, original equipment manufacturers, and home center channels; and directly to end-users. The company was incorporated in 1926 and is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I spoke with Wendy Hartley from Graco about their new Stellair paint guns, which received Ergonomics Performance Certification from United States Ergonomics LLC in this video TechTalk at FinishingAndCoating.com that you can view at https://lnkd.in/gMKHDMwD . Wendy says they sent legacy guns to be tested by USE, which used sensors on test painters' arms, wrists, shoulders, and elbows to gain statistical insight into what was comfortable for an operator. “They also interacted with the operator and asked them where they felt pressure points on their hands and stress on their muscles and which applicators made them feel good and which ones didn't,” Wendy says. “The evaluation was the first step, and then the engineers took that information and built it into the spray guns." #finishingandcoating #finishing #coating #liquidcoating #surfacefinishing
