Seeking New Board Members/Trustees Socially Good Enterprises Limited is seeking additional board members with wine industry experience to help drive the business forward. This is a volunteer position supporting a key charity in Marlborough. About us Socially Good Enterprises is the entity behind Borough Wine, which ensures that net proceeds are used for the good of Marlborough's tamariki and rangatahi through regular donations to our chosen charity, Graeme Dingle Foundation Marlborough. Graeme Dingle Foundation Marlborough positively impacts over 3,200 Marlborough young people every week. We would like Socially Good Enterprises to become a cornerstone of sustainability for the Foundation by ensuring longevity of its important programmes. We have a plan and are in the process of appointing a Growth Manager. We need additional governance support (specifically from someone with wine industry experience) to help guide and ensure success in this next exciting stage. About you You will: have wine industry experience across a range of activities including sales, marketing/communications be able to think strategically and contribute constructive and thoughtful ideas to the Board. be diligent with an eye for detail. be well-networked in the region and willing to promote the objectives of the company across your personal and professional networks. be passionate about the development of young people in Marlborough. The current Board comprises of six trustees, with two vacancies now arising. The Board meets bi-monthly for up to two hours. Subcommittee work may involve further hours. Board positions are voluntary and unpaid. This is a regional charitable trust that delivers five youth development programmes for young people aged 5-25 - under license from the Graeme Dingle Foundation nationally. The Graeme Dingle Foundation was founded in 1995 by Sir Graeme Dingle and Lady Joanne Wilkinson and currently has over 27,000 young people in programmes around New Zealand.
