David has over 45 years experience as a pharmaceutical scientist working on drug development for big pharma through to smaller specialist companies. David was previously the CSO at Argenta and more recently the CSO at a medicinal cannabis company. THE RESULTS ARE IN! Hale is proud to announce the results of our recent clinical trial, a double blinded controlled study, treating pain in dogs suffering from osteoarthritis with our novel, cannabis derived, product formulation; 🔹 The Hale product treated pain just as well as the control, a market leading non-steroidal anti-inflammatory 🔹 We saw a 93% success rate with our treatment group, the accepted norm is around a 50 - 60% success rate 🔹 To be deemed efficacious, we needed to see a drop of at least 2 points on the dog’s Clinical Sum Score (their pain score, given by the vet). Some of the dogs in the Hale treatment group were dropping by 7, 8 and even 9 points! 🔹 Feedback from owners was very positive, with many commenting that their dogs were acting like puppies again Pictured here is Kruiz who was in the Hale treatment group and started the trial with a pain score of 10. Kruiz finished the trial with a score of 1, a whopping 9 point drop. Kruiz’s owner shared this feedback with us; “At the park he was like a puppy again, trotting around, sniffing, excited, happy… haven’t seen Kruiz like this for a very long time.” #cannabis #CBD #veterinarymedicine #animalhealth
