Thank you so much Giant Eagle, Inc. for including 412 Food Rescue in this celebration of Giant Eagle’s newest store! Our mission is to rescue perfectly good food and deliver it quickly to people facing food insecurity, keeping it out of the landfill. As we look to celebrate our 10 year anniversary in 2025, we are so thankful for our terrific partnership with Giant Eagle from the start of our organization and their commitment to our retail food rescue efforts which has helped us grow our impact and feed more people every year. We have a goal to rescue 5M pounds of food this year, which is the equivalent of 6 million meals provided to people in our community who are facing food insecurity. Giant Eagle’s amazing donation of 100,000 pounds from their stores during this holiday season is going to help so many people have the type of holiday we all want - one filled with good food, family and friendships. Thanks again to everyone at Giant Eagle and our shared value of caring for our neighbors so that everyone can thrive!

I had never seen a company culture like this and I'm certain not too many of them exist. We have something special. We have volunteer Grocery Bagging shifts available at the Good Food Project on Tuesday, November 19 👀 Volunteering at the Good Food Project is an easy way to get involved in the community with instant impact.
