AFS is a leader in intercultural learning and offers international exchange programs in over 100 countries around the world through 57 independent, not-for-profit AFS organizations, each with a network of volunteers (55,000+), a professionally staffed office (1,100+), and headed up by a volunteer board.

Join the AFS Global STEM Academies: an interactive full-scholarship program that teaches about sustainability and STEM, fostering skills like problem-solving, intercultural understanding and social innovation. Plus, all scholars receive a certificate from AFS and the University of Pennsylvania.

Our representative, Syed M. Ali Mustafa, attended the Civil Society Town Hall featuring the President of the UN General Assembly, H.E. Dennis Francis to discuss how youth and civil society can engage in the Summit of the Future and the Civil Society Conferences coming up in 2024. 

We were inspired by the words of Mr. Maher Naser, Director of the Outreach Division, and encouraged to hear about the establishment of the new UN Youth Office for more robust and meaningful youth engagement at the UN.
