This past Friday we celebrated International Women’s Day by hosting our second annual Astia Fund I LP Meeting at the beautiful MacArthur Place in Sonoma CA. The conversations were inspiring, illuminating and intimate, and revolved around the theme of the day: Building Tomorrow Through Innovation. By tomorrow, we mean a more equitable, healthier, safer, cleaner, better tomorrow. We did not set out to create an impact fund per se, but we did set out to solve significant problems with massive markets…not only because that makes us excited to wake up and get to work every morning, but also because we fundamentally believe that solving these problems through innovation is highly profitable for all involved.
