BioCT is a bioscience industry organization that represents the interests of over 1,000 companies, healthcare institutions, universities, and research institutions throughout Connecticut. It aims to promote the growth of the state's bioscience cluster by advocating for improved access to capital, talent, space, and infrastructure, as well as by fostering collaboration among stakeholders.

BioCT is the bioscience industry voice for the state of Connecticut.  BioCT is dedicated to growing the vibrant bioscience ecosystem in Connecticut by supporting innovation, collaboration, networking, education, talent engagement and advocacy. Happy National STEM Day! To celebrate, we're looking forward to Young Women in Bio-Connecticut's symposium on careers in STEM tomorrow at Southern Connecticut State University. Around 150 students from 5 schools in the greater #NewHaven region will be spending the school day being inspired and motivated to consider careers in #STEM. CEO Jodie Sherman Gillon will be giving the key note address, discussing her career and what led her to success in the STEM field.

BI won the prestigious Prix Galien, the 'Nobel Prize' of product development, USA Award for Best Product for Rare/Orphan Diseases for their work in Generalized Pustular Psoriasis (GPP). The new Hallmark movie, Mystic Christmas, was filmed at BioCT Innovation Commons and was the film’s production headquarters last summer. This is the third holiday movie filmed at The Commons, and it is featured in both the café and office scenes. 

Premiering this Saturday, October 28th, the film includes many local attractions and businesses including Olde Mistick Village, Mystic Aquarium, and Mango's Pizza. Learn more below.
