I always like to emphasize that it is not exclusively a digital humanities tool; it is a tool for all historians. For those working with Digital Public History, the possibility to expand the tool with plugins like the Omeka integration ( https://lnkd.in/dScYTsDe ) or Tropifffy, to export IIIF collections from your Tropy project ( https://lnkd.in/dA82rcbz ), are great ways to streamline the curatorial and publishing activities of your project's web presence. Today the Omeka Team is pleased to announce the release of Omeka S v.4.1, which includes major improvements to the software's page authoring capabilities: https://lnkd.in/e4R7JirU

"Omeka S turnkey digital library" project, led by the Library of the Université des Antilles (French West Indies University): the aim is to provide a solution for installing the Omeka S ( https://omeka.org/s/ ) back office, based on a script and pre-defined modules. This turnkey solution will help institutions that have no experience with Omeka [by Digital Scholar ], but want to start a digital library project. This project is one of seven selected in the cooperation programme of ABES - Agence bibliographique de l'enseignement supérieur (French Bibliographical Agency for Higher Education). The grants were paid to the institutions in mid-December 2023. The institutions now have 24 months to finalise their projects. Regular information will be provided through posts on the ABES blogs and/or during the "Journées ABES".
