Our video from last summer is making the rounds again 🌳 And we get why — heatwave season is just around the corner. 

As far as solutions go, urban trees are pretty impressive: they can cool their surroundings by up to 12°C.

If you go outside during a heatwave, you'll notice a big difference in temperature between streets lined with trees and bare concrete pavements exposed to the sun.

That's because trees provide shade and bring moisture back into the air, cooling the surrounding areas.

Can we get some love for these chimpanzees? 💚 They were spotted in one of our reforestation sites in Uganda, where we plant trees with the Jane Goodall Institute Austria. 

These trees connect forest patches so chimps can move freely between them, whether searching for food or mates.
