Our Nurse Honor Guard is dedicated to commemorating registered nurses, licensed practical nurses or nurse practitioners who have retired or passed away while actively employed by Endeavor Health. Comprised of ﻿nurse volunteers from various departments throughout the system, their mission is to present a tribute honoring and appreciating a nurse’s career-long loyalty to nursing and bestow respect at the end of life.

﻿﻿While Brian was originally nominated by a Patient Care Technician within his unit who wanted to have him recognized for his recent efforts in facilitating exceptional, patient-centered care and his leadership and dedication to the culture within the unit, Brian was additionally presented with four more nomination stories. These nominations came from employees within his unit, providers, and former patients, further showcasing Brian's commitment to integrity, making that human connection with another, and going the extra mile for anyone he comes in contact with.
