It ensures that the Mauritian financial sector operates in a just, efficient, and transparent manner and is competitive internationally.

The Financial Services Commission, Mauritius (the 'FSC Mauritius'​) is the integrated regulator for the non-bank financial services sector and global business. Established in 2001, the FSC Mauritius is mandated under the Financial Services Act 2007 and has as enabling legislations the Securities Act 2005, the Insurance Act 2005 and the Private Pension Schemes Act 2012 to license, regulate, monitor and supervise the conduct of business activities in these sectors.

The Financial Services Commission, Mauritius informs stakeholders of the financial services industry and the public that the Guidelines on Cloud Computing Services has been issued and is in force as from 30 November 2023.

FSC issues Paper on “Metaverse – Reshaping the Financial Services Sector” for Public Consultation

The Financial Services Commission, Mauritius is issuing a Consultation Paper on the strategic developments and repercussions of the metaverse for the financial services industry in Mauritius. 

Stakeholders of the financial services industry and the public are hereby invited to submit their comments/feedback on the Consultation Paper, by email at fintechconsultation@fscmauritius.org, not later than 30 November 2023.
