We united with Bellin Health in 2022 to form Emplify Health. We are a not-for-profit, patient-centered healthcare network with headquarters in Green Bay and La Crosse, Wis. We deliver primary, specialty and emergency care in 11 hospitals and more than 100 clinics in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

🌟 Children's Miracle Network Hospital heroes had an unforgettable day on the basketball court, teaming up with La Crosse Central High School alumni and NBA and college stars. And it wasn't just about basketball – siblings joined in too, making it a family affair! 🏀❤️

"We had 19 kiddos, both heroes and their siblings. It's a really great chance for the siblings to get involved, too. Especially a lot of times when we're talking about the complex medical conditions these kids are dealing with. We love to get the whole family together and this is a great chance to do that," said Hospital Specialist Ashley Zivrowski.

🎉 National Sister's Day was on Sunday, and Gundersen is celebrating with a heartwarming story: Meet the sister duo, Daysha Elsen and Krista Landt, who bring their shared passion for caregiving to oncology nursing. Daysha, a dedicated RN since 2021, and her sister Krista, a passionate nurse intern, are making a difference together in the Gundersen infusion department. 

"I admire the person that she is, as well as the type of nurse she is. ... She's compassionate, she's empathetic, and her patients adore her for it," says Krista of her sister.

For over 25 year, Dr. Kim Lansing has been more than a doctor for one local family -- she "feels like part of the family." From welcoming new babies to supporting them through health ups and downs, she's cared for FIVE generations of the Brown family. 

"It's truly full circle to care for Scott and his kids and then see those kids grow up and now have children of their own. It's amazing," says Dr. Lansing.

Nearly 30 students learned about a variety of health careers during our 🩺Healthcare Hullaballo 🥳. Through hands on experience the students learned about lasers, surgery procedures and much more during the event. The exploration of different healthcare fields gave the 7th, 8th, and 9th graders an opportunity to learn about potential healthcare fields of interest as they consider class choices for the 2024-2025 school year.
