Internet Systems Consortium, Inc. (ISC) the custodian and distributor of commercial quality Open Source software for the Internet Community. ISC provides world-class professional services based on our software. Since 1996 ISC has led the industry with the most complete reference standard implementation of DNS software. ISC also provides reference implementations for DHCP.

ISC provides a number of Operational Programs and Services that benefit users of the Internet directly and indirectly. Since 1994, ISC has operated F-Root (one of the 13 root DNS servers) as a public service to the Internet.

ISC is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation dedicated to supporting the Internet community with software essential to its infrastructure.

We posted a guest blog today, on experiments with post-quantum crypto algorithms and DNSSEC.

The ISC blog summarizes the results of experiments with BIND 9: the authors also tried the same experiment with other DNS servers.  In summary: "These findings confirm the suspicion that DNSSEC is not going to work well with PQC unless further changes are made."

Internet Systems Consortium is pleased to announce the release of Kea 2.7.0. Kea is a modern DHCP server with extensive apis and full documentation. 
This is the first release of the new Kea 2.7 development branch. Development branches are provided for testing new features, and are not recommended for production deployment. (We do also have two current stable branches, Kea 2.4 and Kea 2.6, which are suitable for production use.)

Correction: This was not the fraud we thought it was.
We have learned that emails we originally identified as abuse were sent by an external contractor engaged by ISC to conduct a focussed and short-term lead generation campaign. We have instructed the vendor to halt that campaign, and have withdrawn our abuse complaint.

We have been assured by the vendor that this was not a bulk unsolicited email campaign. Bulk unsolicited email is counter to our mission in support of Internet infrastructure.
