Sessions tackled industry challenges and personal development, with topics ranging from the economic outlook to leadership strategies to AI in banking. #SyntheticIdentityFraud – Synthetic identity fraud surged in 2024, with lenders facing $3.2 billion in potential losses. Fraudulent "credit washing" also rose as scammers used synthetic identities to erase negative credit information by falsely claiming fraud. #ElderFraudReport – The FTC’s new report reveals that fraud targeting older adults remains a significant issue, with an estimated $1.9 billion in reported losses for 2023. Factoring in underreporting, the actual impact could be closer to $61.5 billion.
