Senator Chuck Schumer recently announced that the University of Rochester ’s STELLAR Engine project has been selected as one of five NY initiatives advancing in NSF’s Innovation Engines program! STELLAR now competes for up to $160M in federal investment under the CHIPS & Science Law. With $1M already awarded, this project will help bolster a laser and optics tech ecosystem in the Rochester-Finger Lakes region, supporting workforce development and economic growth.
