Exciting updates for you from the forefront of AI security - global teamwork :

1. AI Act & OWASP's influence: Big news! The content from the OWASP AI Exchange (owaspai.org) was adopted for the security standardization request by the European Commission. This marks a significant step toward consensus on AI security risks, threats, and controls.

2. OWASP's European involvement: Efforts are underway to secure a permanent seat for OWASP® Foundation at the European standardization table. I’m actively working towards solidifying this presence through an official liaison agreement.

3. Collaborations with Cloud Security Alliance: The AI Exchange experts are contributing with Daniele Catteddu, Ken Huang et al of the Cloud Security Alliance. We've discovered that a concise matrix of risks and threats can sometimes be more impactful than our powerful but complex Navigator. Check out our newly crafted comprehensive matrix of AI security risks!

5. Welcoming Sandy Dunn: We’re thrilled to announce that the great Sandy Dunn is now part of the AI Exchange leadership team. With her wealth of experience as a security professional and former CISO, she's focusing on managing our expert community. We’re lucky Sandy has some extra time on her hands, now that she’s in between jobs and open for new opportunities. I wholeheartedly endorse her.

6. The work of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST): The AI Exchange library now includes the first version of NIST’s adversarial machine learning taxonomy (at https://lnkd.in/ekN5fV-2). We're collaborating with Apostol Vassilev and team to align frameworks moving forward, through the great John Sotiropoulos.

7. Steve Wilson and team keep pushing great content for the LLM top 10, such as versions in multiple languages. See https://llmtop10.com. The AI Exchange links to resources like this on the level of threats and controls, like for example to the work of Christina Liaghati, PhD and her group for Mitre ATLAS.
