Building more demand for recycled content is a 2025 policy priority for APR. At the APR Fall Member Meeting, Chief Policy Officer Kate Bailey shared insights into how APR will work on state-level strategies to increase the use of PCR across a range of product categories and resins. “Each state has unique needs, priorities and market conditions to consider when devising laws to encourage adoption of PCR.” – Kate Bailey , APR Chief Policy Officer With tailored policies, we can work across all regions of the country to drive greater use of recycled resin in products in place of virgin plastic.
