#Resiliency is essential to entrepreneurial success. This is why #RisingTideCapital is dedicated to 
supporting aspiring business owners during their business journey and preparing #entrepreneurs like Charlene Martinez, a full-time student and grocery store and bakery owner, with the resources and skills required to navigate and overcome challenges.

When an electrical fire ravaged the grocery store, and her business partner had to walk away, Charlene was undeterred. The single mom and Harvey George winner applied what she learned in the Community Business Academy and was able to get a special designation under the Cotton Law, allowing her to bake from home. The decision saved her business, Melo’s Sweets.

-Expanded 800 businesses
- Created over 1,800 jobs, primarily in low-income communities. 

In comparison to the 50% national rate, over 80% of Rising Tide entrepreneurs are still in business after

Today, Rising Tide Capital kicks off its second annual Season of Giving Campaign, a time for our community of supporters to make a difference and impact the lives of many by helping us reach our goal of $50,000. 

Our 2023 campaign starts during Global Entrepreneurship Week – November 13-19 -- and will continue through the end of the year. Global Entrepreneurship Week is a time to celebrate and empower #entrepreneurs in every country and community around the world especially those in underserved communities to help #EntrepreneursThrive.

A small donation of $25 can support our work of impacting the lives of aspiring entrepreneurs who do not have access to high-quality business education services. Your funding can help entrepreneurs transform their concepts into sustainable enterprises!
