Society for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (SINE), is an umbrella organization at IIT Bombay for fostering entrepreneurship and nurturing tech start-ups. SINE, is a technology business incubator providing ‘Start to Scale’ support for technology-based startups/innovators and facilitates the conversion of research activity into entrepreneurial ventures with a focus towards economic growth across sectors. Established in the year 2004, SINE has gained recognition as one of the pioneers of the startup incubation ecosystem in India. 
SINE actively collaborates for various initiatives with Corporates, Government, Institutions, and International organisations and has gained a leadership position in the business incubation community in India. SINE has been selected as “Centre of Excellence” by DST- GOI (Department of Science and Technology). In addition to CoE, DST has also selected SINE as an implementation partner to run its nationwide program for funding innovators for prototyping their ideas. SINE has also set up a BIO-Incubator (BioNest) to encourage the MedTech entrepreneurs under BIRAC & DBT-GOI (Department of Biotechnology) and is also selected as BIG partner. MeitY-GOI (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology) also supports SINE.

SINE in association with iTIC Incubator at IITH  conducted MeitY Grant Challenge Final at IIT Hyderabad.

The top 10 teams competed in the finale and team Vayut Autonomous Systems & Technologies Pvt. Ltd. emerged as the winner, and two teams - Stingray Robotix & VRPlaced were the runners-up.

We are looking for a suitable candidate to manage and run the SINE BioLab used by startups and innovators for developing innovative products and solutions related to healthcare/biotechnology.

Roles and Responsibilities
-Overall operations and maintenance of laboratory and instruments.
-Maintain the users log, sample details and instrument usage, documentation of charges for all the equipment.
-Ordering and organising all the laboratory supplies, consumables, chemicals, and compressed gases according to safety regulations

Expertise:
-Should have working knowledge of handling lab equipment’s.
-Knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment policy, preventive measures, and good laboratory practices
-Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems. Candidates with thorough knowledge of excel will be preferred.

The Legal Associate will support the SINE portfolio department in managing legal matters related to startup incubation, investment processes, and advisory services. 

The role involves preparing and reviewing legal documentation, agreements, and due diligence reports. The Legal Associate will work closely with the Portfolio Department and the existing team to ensure legal compliance and provide strategic legal advice to startups.
