The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is a public film festival held annually in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 1976 and has grown to become one of the most prestigious and largest film festivals in the world, becoming a significant destination for film premieres and a major player in the fall North American movie release schedule.
