The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) is an independent organization that supports research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. It was founded in 1925 to manage and commercialize intellectual property created by UW-Madison scientists and inventors. WARF provides grants and other resources to fuel innovation and to support the university's research and educational missions.
