In its most recent publication, Private Debt Investor has highlighted a noteworthy trend. Some asset allocators are referring to the rise in LP demand for allocations to the lower middle market and non-sponsor transactions as "beta expansion." This trend reflects a diversification strategy with a particular focus on asset-based lending.

Currently, banks are estimated to have $1.5 trillion in asset-based lending (#ABL) exposure on their balance sheets, presenting significant opportunities for emerging players in this space.

• Coming Soon: As core contributors to TrueFi, we are excited to highlight Cicada Partners's proposal to restart crypto-native lending on the platform as a Credit Risk Manager. Furthermore, we at Wallfacer Labs have proposed the launch of Trinity, a protocol for borrowing against yield-bearing collateral on TrueFi.
