📢 Portugal Ventures lança fundo para investir em empresas da Região de Leiria (CIMRL - Comunidade Intermunicipal da Região de Leiria)

Hoje anunciamos a constituição do 🚀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶ã𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼 - 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼 𝗙𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗼 (𝗙𝗖𝗥𝗙), com o objetivo de promover o acesso ao financiamento de capital de risco para projetos inovadores, corporizados por empresas com sede num dos 10 concelhos da CIMRL - Comunidade Intermunicipal da Região de Leiria, ou que aí pretendam estabelecer-se com presença e operações significativas.

O Fundo de Capital de Risco “Região de Leiria Crescimento” é uma parceria da Portugal Ventures, com a CIMRL - Comunidade Intermunicipal da Região de Leiria e a NERLEI CCI - Associação Empresarial da Região de Leiria/Câmara de Comércio e Indústria. Resultado de uma candidatura aprovada ao Programa de Venture Capital promovido pelo Banco Português de Fomento (BPF) no âmbito do Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência (PRR), o Fundo "Região de Leiria Crescimento" tem por objetivo contribuir para mitigar as dificuldades no acesso à capitalização por parte das empresas da região e para o desenvolvimento de um ecossistema de inovação musculado e competitivo ao nível global.

Teresa Fiúza, Vice-presidente do Conselho de Administração da Portugal Ventures, refere que “a constituição deste fundo representa o compromisso da Portugal Ventures com o crescimento das empresas da Região de Leiria, permitindo-lhes obter capacidade financeira e capitais próprios para que possam alcançar fases de maior desenvolvimento.” Enaltece ainda o papel desenvolvido pelos parceiros locais que têm trabalhado ao longo dos últimos anos na criação e desenvolvimento do ecossistema empreendedor da região. “Desde a candidatura até à constituição do fundo, os parceiros têm sido absolutamente fundamentais para colocar a Região de Leiria do mapa do empreendedorismo nacional e internacional e estamos muito entusiasmados para conhecer ainda melhor o potencial de inovação que a região tem para mostrar.”
