The company's cathode material, Fennac®, is designed for efficient energy storage, promoting a greener future. Fennac® is made from iron, sodium, carbon, and nitrogen—all readily available and non-toxic materials. This allows Altris to produce batteries that are not only more sustainable but also safe for widespread use. Altris places a strong emphasis on sustainability by using abundant and low-cost materials, reducing dependency on scarce and geopolitically sensitive resources like lithium, cobalt, and nickel. Their technology is designed to be more environmentally friendly from production through to the end-of-life recycling process.
