ECAPS is yet again proud to have supplied our 1 N #HPGP Thrusters to Astroscale (via Nammo UK who manufactured the propulsion system) - enabling #ADRAS -J to perform the complex maneuvers required for the mission. The thrusters are powered by our #Green propellant LMP-103S, providing decreased environmental hazards and pollutants, reduced operational hazards, shorter spacecraft processing times and increased propellant performance as compared to traditional monopropellants. #Thrusters #Rockets #GreenPropulsion

#ECAPS ' 1 N high performance green propulsion #thruster is the world's most successful green propellant thruster, with more than 130x units in orbit and another >150x units awaiting launch. The thruster enables apogee and reaction control maneuvering as well as proximity operations for spacecraft performing everything from debris removal missions to earth observation. It operates on the low-toxic monopropellant #LMP -103S which offers 1.3x the density-impulse of #hydrazine , and up to 75% cheaper spacecraft loading campaigns, reducing the total life-cycle cost of the mission. We come back from Glasgow and the SPACE PROPULSION CONFERENCE #SP2024 energized and excited for the future of propulsion. Especially in the area of #GreenPropulsion . Wilhelm Dingertz presented our latest developments on the European version of the 1 N HPGP thruster as well as our 5 N HPGP thruster, and the in-orbit decontamination of a cold-fired thruster, and Olle Wahlquist presented our advanced designs using topology optimization. Our technology was also presented in papers by #NASA and #Argotec . We are already looking forward to #SP2026 !"
