A zero-day vulnerability related to Palo Alto GlobalProtect application has been identified. This vulnerability allows an attacker without authentication to execute arbitrary code on the system with root privileges. 

Limited exploitation has already been observed in the wild.

Our team at Eye Security has notified our customers and is actively monitoring the situation regarding this vulnerability.

Since there is currently no patch available, it is crucial that organisations running a vulnerable version of Palo Alto GlobalProtect implement the recommended mitigating measures provided by Palo Alto. Ensure that you install the patch immediately upon its release.

If you need to determine whether attackers have exploited this vulnerability to gain access to your organisation, we recommend reaching out to Palo Alto's customer support team.
