Investors have a key role to play in ensuring AI applications are responsible. This is the key theme of The World Economic Forum’s Responsible AI Playbook for Investors published this week.  

The white paper features several investor-led initiatives aimed at promoting better use of AI, including Temasek’s support of AI education and collaboration with regulators. 

At Temasek, we’ve long recognised AI as a transformative force driving industry evolution and global change.  

As well as making investments in technologies that promote safe AI usage, we foster AI adoption in our portfolio companies through Aicadium. We also support the AI Verify Foundation, a global open-source community that brings together owners, solution providers, users and policymakers, to build trustworthy AI.

Global SWF has ranked Temasek top alongside Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), BCI, NZ Super Fund and ISIF in the 2024 #GSRscoreboard. The scoreboard ranks sovereign wealth funds and public pension funds by global best practices in governance, sustainability and resilience.
