The company offers cement, hydraulic binders, clinker, and other cementitious materials; aggregates, such as crushed stone, gravel, and sand; and ready-mix concrete, precast concrete products, asphalts, and mortars. In addition, it engages in the provision of contracting and other services; and retail activities, as well as waste management services. Its products are used in infrastructure projects, such as roads, mines, ports, dams, data centers, stadiums, wind farms, and electric power plants; building projects comprising individual housing, collective housing, office buildings, industrial and commercial buildings, and public buildings; and affordable housing. The company was formerly known as LafargeHolcim Ltd and changed its name to Holcim Ltd in May 2021. Holcim Ltd was founded in 1833 and is headquartered in Zug, Switzerland.

🌟🏗️ First 3D-printed office in Spain by Holcim and A3D Building - the next step in the transformation of the construction sector.

With our focus on building better with less, we started this project at our site in Torres de la Alameda, Madrid. The new offices will house workspaces, changing rooms and a dining room, with a functional design that prioritizes people's well-being.

Under the "3DPrint Lab©" concept, we merged A3D Building's technology with our Better Workplaces initiative in order to transform our workspaces into safe, innovative and sustainable environments.

The construction system developed by A3D Building will reduce the use of materials by up to 50%, providing flexibility to adapt the space and speeding up construction time by up to 35-40%.

🌟 In a first for Holcim in North America, our colleagues in Canada are pioneering the use of 100% recycled minerals in our clinker production process at the Brookfield cement plant!

♻🌍 In collaboration with Geocycle, this pilot demonstrates that we can maintain performance while cutting CO2 levels by up to 60% per ton of clinker.

🗨 "Our teams have been tirelessly working towards finding solutions to decarbonize our business in Canada. This new recycled minerals clinker combines operational excellence with circular construction, building new and green from what is considered old and waste. This is a great example of how far we can go," says David Redfern, President and CEO, Eastern Canada.
