Since our founding, the SoftBank Group has believed that technology is key to building a more connected, empowered, and joyful world. First, the PC #Internet Revolution brought internet access into our homes, and then the Mobile Internet Revolution brought it into our pockets.

Next, the Internet of Things (#IoT) Internet Revolution, made life more convenient by connecting various everyday devices, such as cars, home appliances, etc. to the Internet.

Now, we are witnessing the fourth, the "#AI Revolution," the most significant shift of the Information Revolution so far that is poised to redefine all industries.
There is one major factor shared by these shifts. Each was brought about by advancements in hardware technology, specifically the computer chips within the machines. We believe the next 20 years will bring greater innovation and disruption than the past 300 years, with further advancements in computer chips surely leading the way.

What kind of world do we want to realize in 30 years and 300 years from now?
At the announcement of the 'SoftBank Next 30-Year Vision' in 2010, Masayoshi Son stated his most important role as the founder is to design the DNA of SoftBank Group Corp., which will last at least 300 years.

But it's hard to know or even imagine how technology and lifestyles will change over such a time span. Looking back over the last 300 years, machines caused a paradigm shift in the Industrial Revolution that dramatically changed the way we live. Within the next 300 years, we will experience the greatest paradigm shift in human history through advances in technology.
