🌍 MMA24 at CERN organized by the UK Magnetics Society . After the insightful talk by CERN's Director, Mike Lamont, I had the honor of presenting SENIS Group, Switzerland ’s advanced sensors and instruments for magnetic field and electric current measurements. ⚡ We were introduced by Graeme Finch from National Physical Laboratory (NPL) . In the afternoon, I had the pleasure of chairing the talks by Gaël Close from MELEXIS , Mike and Philippe Scheuber from Bomatec Group , Massimo Pasquale from INRiM - Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica and Doug from INTEGRATED Engineering Software . There were other fascinating talks during the two days. In the evening, we enjoyed a wine tasting 🍷 and a delicious dinner at Clos du Château. During dinner, we had captivating discussions about the future applications of SENIS devices, including gas stations in space 🚀 and inline inspection using SENIS’s 3D magnetic camera for machine learning and AI. 🤖 It was a pleasure to meet international industry experts, scientists, fellow female engineers from Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and promising PhD students. A big thank you to the organizers for an exceptionally successful conference! 👏

#SENIS visited the #ETH student team of #Swissloop at Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich 🚀🇨🇭 Swissloop is a student project at ETH Zürich that focuses on R&D of Hyperloop technology and its practical applications. Hyperloop aims to combine the speed of airplanes ✈️ with the flexibility of trains 🚆 by using floating pods in vacuum tubes, enabling high-speed and sustainable transportation by minimizing friction losses. The Swissloop project incorporates magnet-based systems 🧲. The SENIS 3D Teslameter is being used in the Swissloop project to measure the magnetic fields of various systems (brake, levitation system, booster, and motor) to evaluate their performance and mutual influence. SENIS is a proud sponsor of Swissloop. The SENIS team is impressed by the brilliant ETH students of the Swissloop project! Congratulations! 👏

Thank you, Matteo Perello from ASG Superconductors S.p.A. , for visiting the SENIS Group, Switzerland 's booth during the International Magnetic Measurement Workshop (IMMW23) in Switzerland, organized by PSI Paul Scherrer Institut . In collaboration with ASG Superconductors S.P.A., based in Italy, SENIS measures magnetic fields for the ITER Organization project. ITER, the way to new #energy ! To qualify the #ITER European batch of toroidal field coils, #SENIS with #ASG is mapping the magnetic field around the 'D'-shaped giant toroidal field coils. The device combines the magnetic field measurement accuracy of SENIS' 3-axis Hall sensor measurement instruments with the positioning precision of a #Hexagon Leica Laser Tracker. The SENIS 3-axis sensor features patented vertical and horizontal Hall elements fabricated using CMOS silicon technology. As a result, a single measurement captures the three components of the magnetic field and the probe's position instantly, achieving an impressively high signal-to-noise ratio and resolution.
