Ambitious goals need strong partnerships: milestone achieved! 🤝 We’re excited to enter a groundbreaking partnership with Oleicola El Tejar (OET), a leading company in Spain’s olive industry, and GREENAR , a Spanish engineering company specialised in renewable energy, to develop, construct and operate new biomethane plants. Together, we are committed to realising at least 8 projects, with OET ensuring a secure supply of feedstock with 1.2 million tons of olive pomace annually for the next 20+ years. Greenar is committed to taking the project to construction and VORN will oversee development, construction and operations, ensuring the highest standards of excellence. This partnership addresses a significant environmental challenge for the entire Andalusian region by reducing air emissions and turning the olive industry from a major fossil gas consumer to a major green gas producer. By applying advanced technologies in the treatment of olive pomace, we are enabling an efficient and environmentally friendly use of the product, returning the nutrients to the olive producers. At VORN Bioenergy, long-lasting and trusting partnerships are right at our core. Our mission to unlock the potential of biomethane across Europe drives us to engage in partnerships that leverage local resources and expertise, creating win-win solutions for all involved.
