🦾AI funding has grown 10X in just a decade. The UK, France, and Germany are dominating investment in the sector, attracting 77% of all AI funding in Europe in 2023-2024, compared to 59% for the rest of the technology sector over the same period. 

UK startups have raised the most AI investment in Europe so far in 2024, with $2.1 billion, followed by France with $1.2 billion. However, Europe still lags behind American leadership in the global AI industry, with four times less VC funding and fewer AI research papers and patents. 

Generative AI has had a profound impact on the venture capital space, as GenAI alone now represents over 10% of all VC funding in Europe, a substantial proportion for a vertical still in its nascent stage🤝
