Tech-enabled care is an exciting, impactful and often overlooked investment opportunity - which we believe has the potential to deliver lucrative returns. The rising demand for elderly care, women’s growing participation in the workforce, changing gender perceptions and a more tech-savvy population all underline its potential.

Since 3SV was founded, the care sector has been a key part of our investment focus, but we want to do more to improve broader understanding of the opportunities for technological disruption in this space.

🫂Tech-enabled care is an exciting and impactful investment opportunity, with significant returns potential - but it often gets overlooked. 

The care sector is HUGE - we all have care needs to varying extents throughout our lives, but innovation to date has lagged other sectors, making the care space today ripe for disruption. 

Excitingly, we are now seeing an increasing number of startups entering this space.  

Since Dalia Aga-Shaw and I started 3SV, the care economy has been a key focus for us, but we have found that an understanding of the care space among peers has often been limited, and we want to change this.

It was a pleasure to join the Barclays Eagle Labs team at the UK Business Angels Association.
