Yesterday morning, we welcomed clients and colleagues to Corps HQ for our latest Breakfast Briefing, "Mitigating Threats to Your Business." Hosted in our newly refurbished Corps Security Training Academy, the event featured insights from experts Sarah Austerberry MLitt, CSyP , Paul Maskall , Mike Bluestone MA CSyP FSyI , Neil S. , and Andrea Strong . They discussed insider threats, the current threat landscape, along with new technological initiatives for lone worker protection, and proactive steps to mitigate risks and threats. These briefings go beyond knowledge sharing; they are about collaborating to stay ahead and ensure the safety and security of spaces and people.

To commemorate Armistice Day 2024, we paid tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives by visiting Brookwood Cemetery earlier today. Led by former serviceman and Divisional Director Nigel Horne, we laid three wreaths representing officers from the UK, Australia, and Canada. Yesterday, to mark Remembrance Sunday, a selection of our Commissionaires, guests and staff marched past the Cenotaph in Whitehall, also led by former serviceman and divisional director Nigel Horne. We were delighted to have been joined on the march by representatives from Combat Stress, The Chelsea Pensioners and Rhondda Sea Cadets. Our colleagues have also joined us to sell poppies across several locations to raise much needed funds for the Royal British Legion, resulting in a contribution of over £1,000. To us, Remembrance Day isn’t just one day of the year. It is honoured throughout the year with the Corps Veterans Association (CVA). Let us never forget those who gave their life to service.
