Founded in London in 1858 Fells is owned by Symington Family Estates, owners of the renowned Port houses of Graham’s, Dow and Warre, who together with Miguel Torres, producers of the leading Spanish wines Sangre de Toro and Vina Sol, are long standing shareholders in the company.

Fells is based in their own modern offices in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire and employs some 70 staff engaged in the sales, marketing and distribution of wines, spirits and alcohol related gift packs.

Happy National Port Day! Honoured on the 10th of September, National Port Day is an annual celebration paying tribute to the rich history and exceptional qualities of Portugal’s magnificent ports. On this wonderful occasion, it is only right for us to acknowledge the newest Aged Tawny release from Graham’s: the Graham’s 50-Year-Old Tawny Port. Carefully watched over by two generations of Master Blenders, Peter and Charles Symington, the blend is comprised of the ‘CAS Reserve’, a wine from 1969 set aside by Peter Symington to mark the birth of his son Charles, from whose initials the name is derived. It also contains a blend of wines from 1970 and 1973. Since it was blended in 1982, over 50% of the wine has evaporated resulting in astonishing concentration. Graham’s Aged Tawnies are an homage to the unparalleled craftsmanship and dedication that goes into producing every bottle. The Graham’s 50-Year-Old Tawny has already received widespread acclaim, with James Suckling awarding 98/100 pts and Jancis Robinson (Richard Hemming MW) awarding 18/20 pts.
