We were excited to hold our first Health, Safety and Wellness Week for all staff across our business. The Health and Safety team worked tirelessly to prepare a variety of engaging activities for everyone to enjoy. Throughout last week and over the weekend, a nutritionist was on site to provide valuable advice on healthy eating options. Our awareness stalls covered important topics including alcohol consumption and mental health. Additionally, we provided free fruit to encourage healthier snacking habits. We had sessions to highlight the importance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and awareness of blind spots when operating forklifts, strengthening our commitment to workplace safety. To add a little friendly competition, our teams took part in a challenge to see who could burn the most calories on the exercise bike, and we rounded things off with a fun quiz to test everyone’s knowledge on health and safety topics. It was a fantastic week filled with learning, teamwork, laughter and positive energy, and we look forward to continuing to prioritise the health and well-being of our employees at FloPlast!
